This is our 4x8 chicken tractor. It has a 3 ft x 4 ft enclosed area above the run with an open floor. It has 2 roosts and a nestbox with 3 bins that are accessed from the back. The run area is enclosed in 1/2 inch hardware cloth. This coop has easy access to all areas. The side of the enclosure opens for easy access to feed, the top of the run opens in case you need to catch chickens and there is a chicken door for free ranging.

Great build plans
We built this over a three day period (we had to rip the 2x2s from 2x4s). Plans were detailed and pictures very well done. We did need more 3” screws (2 boxes total) and the materials list does not list the 3.5” screws needed. Cut materials and assembled individual components 75% the first day. Finished assembly and painted the second day. Put hardware cloth on parts and completed assembly the third day. Recommended improvements to the instruction would be to update the materials list to include the 3.5” screws and add the instructions for the ramp to the coop. (We figured it out but that would have been nice) Overall these are great instructions for a very sturdy tractor we expect to last a long time. Will be recommending you for anyone who asks and wants plans.
