In my opinion our best design so far for the south Texas climate. This is a 4x8x6 fully enclosed coop. The coop has siding up 38 inches across the front with a chicken door to let them out durring the day, then from 38 inches up is covered with 1/2 inch hardware cloth. This allows for great ventilation in the hot Texas sun, once the temperature gets colder or rain is a coming, put the removable shutters in place to protect your birds.
Each side is fully covered in siding minus a small area at the top for ventilation. The rear of the coop has 2 nest boxes with 3 bins in each, this gives you a total of 6 nest bins that are accessible from both inside and outside of the coop.
This coop would be for just 3-4 chickens unless you have or order a run to go with it. The prices of runs depends on size and covered with roof panels or hardware cloth. Send us a message with what you are wanting and we can give you a quote.
